Andree' Mosley Jr.

–

Ellendale, Delaware

Andreè Lazar Mosley Jr., was born in Milford, DE, on January 12, 2006 at 11:53AM, to Andree Mosley Sr. and Rikeisha Cephas. Andreè, also known as AJ, departed this life on June 14, 2025.

Andreè was a member of True Freedom in Jesus Christ Ministries located in Georgetown DE, under the leadership of Pastor Phillip Mosley Sr. He was also a member of Dominion Church of Delaware, located in Ellendale, DE, under the leadership of Apostle Anthony Cannon.

Andreè started his education in Milford School District and ended his education with a High School Diploma from Cape Henlopen High School. He was employed at Smashed Mouth Burgers and Jeves Company. In AJ’s own words, “I am great at playing drums, since I was at least two, I am good at playing football.  If it was not for my Uncle John, I would not know how to play football right now today.  I started when I was six and haven’t stopped.  I am good at fishing.  My stepdad taught me how to fish five years ago.  I am good at playing video games; especially Madden 24. I’ll cook anyone in that game! I’m also good at basketball, even though I don’t play for the school.  I still think I’m pretty good for a person that doesn’t actually play the sport.  I practice and train a lot to stay in shape, to be able to be good at all these things”.  Andreè loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his brother Prince.  When you saw AJ, you saw Prince and when you saw Prince, you saw AJ.  The true definition of, “Am I My Brother’s Keeper!”

AJ was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Ricardo Waples and his paternal grandmother Geraldine Mosley; step grandfather Terry Cephas, two uncles Terry Gandy and Bruce of Florida, brother Antwone Cephas, and godmother Deanine Dukes.

AJ leaves to cherish his memories, his parents Andreè Mosley Sr. (Sandra), and Rikeisha Cephas (Robert) all of Ellendale, DE; grandparents Charlene Waples (Samuel Piper) of Milford, DE, Apostle John W. Mosley of Ellendale, DE, Anthony Mullen (Alice) of Milton, DE, and Rose Carter of Dover, DE; godfather, Jonathan Dukes of Milford, DE; three brothers De’shawn Bratten of Milton, DE, Prince Mosley (whom he loved dearly) of Ellendale, DE, and Robert Cephas Jr. of Ohio; four sisters Sheniqua Fletcher of Cambridge, MD, Shamirah Smith of Milford, DE, A’livia Mosley of Ellendale, DE, and Ri’Nyah Waples of Ellendale, DE; eight aunts Tamara, Schrita, Michelle, Crystal, Cynthia, Pamela, Sharonda and Tasha; eight uncles Ricky, John, Michael, Nicholas, Deramous, Phillip, Bruce and Tyron; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, which he loved dearly.

Prayerfully Submitted, The Family
