Charles Goldsboro

–

Dover, Delaware

Charles “Chuck” Hollis Goldsboro was born on July 16, 1956, in Chestertown, Maryland, to the late Charles Alcroy Goldsborough and Frances Elizabeth Jacobs. He answered God’s unexpected call to eternal rest on December 14, 2025, at the age of 69.

Chuck received his education through Queen Anne’s County Public Schools in Maryland. In his early life, he fell in love and married Angela Wilson on June 11, 1983. Now a family man, Chuck was not one to sit idle. He worked for Harbor Freight, Culligan, and as a truck driver for Ferguson Plumbing Supply. Aside from working, Chuck enjoyed the Annual Hynson/Beck Family Reunion, where his infectious personality shone. He danced, sang, and took pleasure in spending time with his family. Before his blindness, Chuck enjoyed any time he could spend outdoors, whether he was washing his car or hanging out with his Pondtown friends, talking and laughing. Chuck was also known for his artistic abilities, which he enjoyed using to draw.

Chuck is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Frances, and his younger sister, Juanita Barnes.

To carry on his memory, he leaves behind three children, Kenyetta, Cameo, and Damon. One sister, Thelma “Lou” Staten (Cal), of Dover, Delaware, one brother, Charles Goldsborough of Baltimore, Maryland, two aunts, Dorothy Parham (Louis) of Dover, Delaware and Helen Fisher of Chestertown, Maryland, a niece, Calisha Staten of Frederick, Maryland, special friends Jackie and Wes Meredith of Dover, Delaware, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
