George Lee Reynolds

George Lee Reynolds, lovingly called “George Lee” by his siblings, was born August 10, 1955, to Smithie Lee James-El and George Anderson. He departed this life on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Bayhealth Hospital, Sussex Campus.

George Lee received his early education in Delaware School Districts and later joined the Army National Guards.

One thing George cherished most was his family. He took every opportunity to show how deeply he loved each family member in a unique and special way.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tasha Young; his mother Smithie Lee James-El; his father, George Anderson; his dad Jesse L. James; his sister, Pamela Reynolds and his brother Charles Tyrone “Ty” Reynolds.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his common law wife Barbara Satchell, two stepchildren, Andre “Wink” (Tonya) Riley and Azonda “Zonnie” Cobbs; four grandchildren, Bryonda Jones, Bryondre “Skeeter” Jones, who loved cutting George’s hair, NeAndrea Riley and Tiffany Young; four sisters, Robin Reynolds Sorden, Milford, DE; Sheila James, Felton, DE; Valerie Newsome, Houston, DE; and Angie Carrington, Milford, DE; two brothers, Antonio (Karen) Reynolds, Sr., Lincoln, DE; and Jason (Pamela) James, Sr., Milford, DE; and one extended brother, Leroy Tice, Sr., Englewood, NJ; one aunt Lollie Ruth Harris (age 99), Chesapeake, VA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
