It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Isaac Hagans, who left us all too soon on June 14, 2024, at the age of 31. Isaac was born on October 9, 1992, in Lewes, Delaware. He was a radiant sunbeam in our lives, an individual whose spirit was as boundless as the ocean he so dearly loved.
Isaac was a person whose heart was as expansive as his smile. A man of profound integrity and kindness, he had an uncanny ability to make people feel valued and seen. His infectious laugh was like a familiar melody that brought joy and comfort to those around him. Even with his young age, Isaac had a wisdom and depth that was far beyond his years. As Mark Twain once said, "Age is an issue of mind over matter. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter." Isaac's age never defined him; his spirit did.
The indelible memories Isaac left behind are the testament to his extraordinary life. He was a lover of the great outdoors, often found exploring the Delaware coastline or hiking through the state's lush parks. His love for nature was only matched by his love for his family. Despite being not employed, Isaac found joy in the simple things in life and had an unparalleled ability to live each day to the fullest.
Isaac's legacy will continue to live on through his cherished family members. He leaves behind one beautiful daughter, his father, Moses Hagans, his mother, Cheryl Jarmon, and his uncle, Mathew Taylor and a host of loving family who will keep the flame of his spirit alive and honor his memory by living their lives with the same kindness, compassion, and zest that Isaac did.
As we mourn the loss of our beloved Isaac, we also celebrate the beautiful life he lived. His spirit and memories will forever be engraved in our hearts. We encourage everyone who was touched by Isaac's life to share their memories and upload photographs to his memorial page. As we remember Isaac, let's not forget the words of Kahlil Gibran, "When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight."
