REMEMBER ME

Kevin's nearly seven-month battle to recover from his third open-heart surgery came to an end due to heart complications. Even in his last hour, he urged the doctors and medical staff to keep trying everything they could to help him continue his fight.

He should be revered for his kind spirit and infectious smile, for overcoming so much in his short life, and for always bringing life into the room, optimism to unlikely situations, and a will to prevail despite the odds.

Kevin will be greatly missed by many family members and friends, especially his children, Kevin and Amani; his brothers, Carlos and James; and his loving partner, Helen.
