Michael Boulanger

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Allen Boulanger, affectionately known as Mikey, who left us too soon on July 5, 2024, at the young age of 18. Born in Slidell, LA, on October 22, 2005, Michael made Bear, Delaware, his home, where he touched the lives of everyone with his radiant presence.

In the words of Albert Einstein, "The only source of knowledge is experience," and this was a mantra that Michael lived by. He was a talented jack of all trades, never shying away from any challenge, always ready to figure out the solution no matter how long it took. His work as a Pet Care Technician at Pet Care Two was more than a job; it was an extension of his generous and loving spirit. Michael's thoughtful nature made him an invaluable member of the community, always willing to lend a helping hand. His hobbies were a reflection of his adventurous spirit and love for the outdoors. From hunting and fishing to working on cars and riding motorcycles, Michael was fearless and enjoyed the thrill of speed and the satisfaction of fixing things.

Michael's life was a testament to his love for family, friends, his pets, and his girlfriend. His nieces and nephews held a special place in his heart, lovingly nicknaming him the Funcle (fun uncle). He was a beacon of light, making people laugh and leaving an indelible mark on everyone he met. Michael is survived by his parents, Mark and Laurie Boulanger; his grandmother, Carolyn Boulanger; siblings, Melissa Jester and Mark, Matthew, and Mason Boulanger; and sister-in-law, Danielle Smith. The legacy of Michael's kind heart, intelligence, and ambition will continue to live on through them.
